Career Day 2025: Global Connection, Career Breakthrough

At VinUni, nurturing well-rounded development is always a top priority – not only in academics but also in preparing students with the skills, confidence, and mindset to thrive in their careers. This vision is brought to life every year through Career Day, one of the university’s most anticipated events. The 2025 edition was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, top employers, alumni, and students for a day of meaningful connections and career inspiration.
This year’s Career Day welcomed over 1,500 students and alumni, alongside 55 leading companies representing 20 industries from Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Global names such as Amazon Singapore, AlphaSights Hong Kong, Bosch Global Software, EY, Schaeffler, and Starbucks joined the event to share opportunities and insights.
The event featured 35 company booths, including StoryCo Vietnam, a creative U.S. startup led by VinUni alumna Vicky Giap, now Country General Manager. Through the Industry Roundtable, students engaged directly with 40 corporate representatives, gaining first-hand perspectives on how to stand out in today’s fast-changing job market.
A key milestone of Career Day 2025 was the official launch of the Mentorship Program, connecting students with 50 leaders, experts, and mentors from organizations such as AlphaSights, BIDV, Capella Hanoi, FPT Digital, MBBank, VinRobotics, and UNICEF. The program is designed to provide personalized guidance on career planning, leadership development, and essential soft skills.
Throughout Career Week, VinUnians also participated in 190 interview sessions with recruiters for internships and job opportunities, while 137 first-year students received valuable orientation through the First Year Advising Program.
A special highlight of the Opening Ceremony was the recognition of Đoàn Quốc Duy, Champion of The Moneyverse Season 1, who was awarded a prize package including 1 billion VND, a VinFast VF3 car, and a CPA Australia scholarship.
