Hội thảo về Ứng dụng CNTT và AI trong cảnh báo sớm thiên tai trong bối cảnh biến đổi khí hậu: Cơ hội và thách thức
Event date: 29/07/2025

As part of VinUni Research seminar series, we are pleased to invite you to a seminar on The Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Early Warning Systems for Natural Disasters in the Context of Climate Change: Opportunities and Challenges, presented by Dr. Huy Nguyen.
Time: 16:00 – 17:00, 29 July, 2025
Location: I.201, VinUniversity
Location: I.201, VinUniversity
About the Seminar:
Amidst the escalating impacts of climate change, the application of technology in disaster prevention and mitigation has become more urgent than ever.
This seminar will showcase practical initiatives and key lessons to explore the potential of ICT and AI in enhancing the effectiveness of early warning systems. It will also explore opportunities to improve the accuracy, response time, and outreach of early warning systems, especially in vulnerable regions. In addition, challenges such as data limitations, technological infrastructure, and policy integration issues will be comprehensively addressed.
The seminar serves not only as a platform for connecting experts, researchers, policymakers, students, and interested stakeholders, but also as a catalyst for generating suitable technological ideas and solutions. These contributions aim to strengthen response capacities and build resilience in the face of rapidly evolving climate conditions.
