From September 22 to 27, 2025, VinUniversity proudly hosted the “Herbal Medicine Museum” exhibition in collaboration with TRAFFIC Vietnam. This meaningful event, part of the “Duoc Dien Nuoc Nam” campaign, invited the VinUni community to explore the richness of Vietnam’s traditional herbal medicine while spreading the message of wildlife conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
Designed as an immersive learning journey, the exhibition guided visitors through the diverse world of Vietnamese medicinal herbs — their origins, uses, and cultural significance. At the “Golden Board of Medicinal Herbs”, students discovered traditional remedies documented in the official Vietnamese Pharmacopoeia, celebrating the deep wisdom of local medicine.
A highlight of the exhibition was a stunning rhino model made from 10 legal herbal species, symbolizing the harmony between traditional medicine and nature conservation. The central message resonated deeply: “Healing humanity should never harm nature.”
VinUnians had the chance to not only observe but also interact and reflect through engaging activities:
- Check-in photos with the herbal rhino installation.
- “Green Messages” corner, where visitors left personal pledges to promote sustainable, wildlife-free medicine.
- Interactive mini-game “Find the Herbs – Save the Rhino”, encouraging participants to learn and spread awareness through a fun digital experience.

Advancing Sustainability through Education and Action
The Herbal Medicine Museum is more than an exhibition — it represents VinUni’s ongoing collaboration with global organizations to promote sustainability awareness and responsible living. Through this initiative, VinUni aims to inspire students to live in harmony with nature, make conscious consumption choices, and contribute to biodiversity conservation — all essential pillars of sustainable development.
As the Herbal Medicine Museum continues its journey across Vietnam, VinUni hopes that every visitor becomes a young ambassador of change — helping spread the message: “Say No to Rhino Horn – Heal with Nature.”
VinUni’s Commitment to Nature and Wildlife Conservation
In pursuit of a responsible and sustainable educational environment, VinUniversity is committed to raising awareness and inspiring concrete actions to protect nature, biodiversity, and wildlife. The university encourages all faculty members, students, and partners to refrain from purchasing, consuming, or using products derived from wildlife, and to choose safe, legal, and environmentally friendly alternatives instead.
