- 36 hours of nonstop challenge-breaking
- AI – a challenge or a driving force for the future of work?
- More than 700 students co-creating solutions
After 36 hours of accelerated creativity, the most outstanding teams of VinUni Hackathon 2025 have officially emerged:
First Prize: VinTrack – An AI-powered platform supporting real-time disaster rescue, connecting and guiding emergency responders to affected communities.

Second Prize: Mam – An AI agricultural assistant that helps manage crop growth and analyze agricultural markets, enabling farmers to farm with confidence and optimize profits.

Third Prize: Tourlingo – A platform that translates ethnic minority languages into Vietnamese and English, serving as a linguistic bridge to promote sustainable tourism.

With the theme “AI for Creating Jobs and Companies of the Future,” VinUni Hackathon 2025 created a dynamic learning and innovation space where students were encouraged to rethink the role of AI, not as a replacement for humans, but as a powerful tool that supports, enhances human capabilities, and opens up new career opportunities for the future.
Throughout the two-day event, teams worked at high intensity to analyze problems and develop AI-driven solutions aligned with their academic disciplines and career contexts, under the guidance of a dedicated network of mentors, including faculty members, industry experts, and experienced entrepreneurs. From initial ideas, many teams progressed to well-defined solution models with practical applicability and long-term development potential.
Day 2 marked the climax of the Hackathon as teams advanced through two consecutive pitching rounds. In the final round, the most outstanding teams presented their ideas to a judging panel comprising senior executives (C-level leaders) from major corporations and VinUni’s academic leadership, receiving in-depth feedback from both business and educational perspectives.
VinUni Hackathon is one of many hands-on learning experiences at VinUni, where students lay the foundation for their future journeys in entrepreneurship and innovation, while developing problem-solving mindsets, teamwork skills, and the ability to turn ideas into feasible, real-world proposals.
