VinUni Launches the First Sustainability Literacy Session for First-year Students

As part of the 2025 Week of Welcome, VinUniversity hosted its first-ever Sustainability Literacy session — marking an important milestone in nurturing a culture of sustainability within the VinUni community.
The session introduced more than 700 first-year students to VinUni’s sustainability vision and practical ways they can contribute to a greener, more responsible campus. Through engaging discussions, real-life examples, and interactive activities, students learned how small daily actions can collectively make a big impact.
From bringing reusable water bottles, choosing green transportation, and reducing single-use plastics, to joining sustainability clubs and proposing new ideas to the Sustainability Committee — VinUnians are encouraged to live the change every day.
This initiative reflects VinUni’s commitment to shaping future leaders who not only excel academically but also act as responsible global citizens — driving positive change for people and the planet.
