675 People Join Hands for a Green Planet: 18.7 Tons of Waste Collected in Hanoi on World Environment Day

On the morning of June 5, 2026, the “Together for a Green Planet 2026” campaign in Hanoi was successfully held, drawing the participation of 675 staff members, lecturers, students, and volunteers from 15 member companies of Vingroup.
Initiated by the “For Green Future” Foundation, the program was co-organized by VinUniversity, the Gia Lam Commune People’s Committee, and Let’s Do It Vietnam. Its core mission is to spread a sense of community responsibility and promote concrete actions for the environment.
In just 2 hours, the participants worked together to clean up and collect a total of 18.7 tons of waste, including 14.5 tons of construction debris and 4.16 tons of household waste.

The campaign beautifully demonstrated the spirit of solidarity, social responsibility, and commitment to sustainable development within the Vingroup community. Every bag of trash collected and every street cleaned up represents a small action that carries immense meaning for the community and our surrounding environment.
