Scientific Conference: The Impact of Transport Electrification on Air Pollution Mitigation and NDCs Implementation in Vietnam
Event date: 05/09/2025
The Impact of Transport Electrification on Air Pollution Mitigation and NDCs Implementation in Vietnam: 5 September, 2025
To our esteemed academics, researchers, experts, and stakeholders,
VinUniversity and the Agile Innovation Center (AIC) are honored to invite you to submit papers and present at the scientific conference on the theme: “The Impact of Transport Electrification on Air Pollution Mitigation and NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions) Implementation in Vietnam.” This conference will serve as a prestigious forum for scientists, policymakers, businesses, and civil society organizations to discuss, share the latest research findings, present innovative ideas, and propose practical solutions to accelerate transport electrification, thereby contributing to air quality improvement and the fulfillment of Vietnam’s climate commitments.
As Vietnam strives to implement its updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 2022) and achieve the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, the transition to electric mobility is considered a cornerstone solution. The conference will focus on a multi-dimensional assessment of this transition, from environmental and socio-economic impacts to opportunities for international cooperation and the development of new market mechanisms.
