The Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology (VRISG) is a premier biomedical research institution operating under the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, established with investment from Vingroup Corporation. The Institute is dedicated to the discovery, development, and clinical translation of cell and gene therapies for the treatment of complex and challenging diseases.

Since its inception in 2017, VRISG has successfully convened seven editions of The VinUni-Vinmec International Conference on Cell & Gene Therapy (VCGT), attracting a distinguished cohort of participants from Vietnam and internationally renowned medical communities, including the USA, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, China…

Building upon this legacy, VRISG, in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy, are honored to host The 8th VCGT Conference – VCGT 2025, under the theme “Transforming Healthcare with Cell & Gene Therapy”.

The conference will feature cutting-edge topics such as CAR-T cell therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for cancer and autoimmune disorders. Furthermore, the conference will highlight the most advanced applications of stem cell and stem cell-derived extracellular vesicle therapies for regenerative medicine. The event will bring together leading experts from Vietnam and across the globe in the field of biomedical sciences.
