Scholarships for Underprivileged Students

VinUniversity is committed to ensuring that financial hardship never stands in the way of academic potential. Through a combination of tuition subsidies, merit-based scholarships, stackable awards, donor-funded grants, and need-based financial aid, VinUni has awarded an average of $30.5 million USD in scholarships and financial aid annually since 2023 — with approximately 80% in scholarships and 20% in financial aid. Need-based support covers not only tuition (from 5% to 65% based on family circumstances) but also living expenses, healthcare, and unexpected family crises. From 2025 to 2030, all enrolling students will receive a 35% tuition subsidy from Vingroup for the full duration of their studies, further reducing barriers to access and reinforcing VinUni’s mission to break the cycle of poverty through education.
